SPI artist Kathy Schwarz is known for creating colorful nature-inspired art in multiple mediums. She is proficient in watercolors, acrylics, pastels, colored pencils, ink, stained glass and ceramics.
Kathy began developing her personal artistic style as a teen in the Mexican colonial town of San Miguel de Allende. Her studies continued at Trinity University where she earned a BA in Studio Art.
Since then, she has worked with architects and decorators on residential and commercial design projects and as an art educator in the public school system.
She continues to develop her innate sense of color, composition and design to create vibrant works of art that capture the abundance of beauty in flora and fauna. Nature as a subject matter is an endless source of inspiration for this artist.
